The BC Emergency Medicine Network attended the 15th Annual St Paul’s Emergency Medicine Update Conference in Whistler, September 28th – October 1st. The conference was well attended by rural and urban emergency physicians, nurses, paramedics and residents and had an excellent line up of presentations and speakers. We gained new friends and members at our booth and had the privilege of presenting about the Network before Friday’s keynote speaker, Dr Kenji Inaba.
This was the first opportunity to network with the EM community since we launched on September 12th, and we are excited to report that after spreading the word at the conference we now have 312 members and growing.
We are grateful to the conference organizers for giving us this opportunity and we hope to be back next year!
