Rural Practitioners Meet to Critique EM Network Summaries

The BC Emergency Medicine Network has partnered with the Rural Coordination Centre of BC (RCCbc) to seek input from rural practitioners on its clinical resources. A rural working group has been formed and discussions are underway on various topics of the the Point-of-Care Emergency Clinical Summaries (PECS). The goal is to review and modify the resources when necessary, so that they are relevant to all BC practitioners, no matter where they practice. This input is critical to the success of the EM Network, which at its core is trying to transform emergency care in BC.

The group has held two virtual meetings to date, with the next discussion planned for August. If you would like to join the working group, please email Sharla Drebit, Network Manager at sharla@bcemergencynetwork.ca
