Healthy volunteers are invited to schedule a test session of a new ‘contactless sensing system’ that is being developed to take vital sign readings (like your heart rate and oxygen saturation) without needing to come into contact with your skin.
This system instead uses a camera to collect readings from a distance. At this early stage of development, we are testing the new system for accuracy, reliability and usability on medium to dark skin tones.
This study involves attending a one-hour in-person test session at the VGH Research Pavilion.
Sessions are available until mid-March. For more information, or to book a session, sign up here: REACH BC.
