The Peace Arch Hospital Emergency Department is urgently seeking two full-time Emergency Physicians to join our collegial and well-supported team. Applications for full-time, part-time or locum work will be welcomed and shifts are available immediately.

Peace Arch Hospital is a 171-bed, UBC-affiliated acute care hospital in scenic White Rock, BC, offering inpatient medicine, surgery, obstetrics, psychiatry, rehabilitation and critical care services, as well as a variety of ambulatory services.  We have access to a full range of diagnostic services including 24/7 access to CT, Ultrasound and MRI.  Local and regional subspecialty support is excellent.

Our new emergency department is under construction and is anticipated to open in January 2022. This state-of-the-art facility will be quadruple the square footage of the current department and feature 55 single-patient treatment spaces, a child and family-friendly treatment area, and a dedicated mental health and substance use waiting and treatment area.

We anticipate our volumes to increase 15-20% with the new ER.  We are urgently looking for new ERPs in anticipation of our increased volume.
