BC recently reached a huge milestone: more than 1 million virtual health visits.

Since the COVID-19 pandemic hit the number of virtual patient visits in BC shot up from 1,500 to 20,000 per week, recently passing the one-millionth mark.

This patient survey infographic highlights feedback from patients who gave virtual health visits high praise for efficiency and for saving them time and travel costs.

It’s estimated that the 1M virtual visits have saved BC patients:

  • 800,000 hrs of travel time
  • 22,000,000 km traveled
  • Reduced health care system carbon footprint by ~ 8,000 tonnes
