BC recently reached a huge milestone: more than 1 million virtual health visits.
Since the COVID-19 pandemic hit the number of virtual patient visits in BC shot up from 1,500 to 20,000 per week, recently passing the one-millionth mark.

It’s estimated that the 1M virtual visits have saved BC patients:
- 800,000 hrs of travel time
- 22,000,000 km traveled
- Reduced health care system carbon footprint by ~ 8,000 tonnes
