UBC FLEX Emergency Medicine Preceptors

Emergency Care BC FLEX Activity

Emergency Care BC (ECBC) is seeking UBC faculty members from across the province who are interested in becoming a preceptor to support FLEX students in their projects. FLEX Preceptors are required to be a physician currently or recently working in emergency medicine and affiliated with UBC or equivalent.

The FLEX Program provides UBC MD Undergraduate students at various stages of their education with opportunities to explore individual scholarly interests and enhanced learning.

ECBC will support the students as they complete FLEX projects, these will ultimately become part of ECBC’s library of Clinical Resources.

As a FLEX preceptor, you will provide guidance and feedback to the students during their planning and educational activities.

This is an important opportunity for students to engage with emergency practitioners and foster further interest in a career in emergency medicine.

In addition to adding your name to their work, you will benefit by experiencing emergency medicine through their eyes and feeling their enthusiasm for our specialty.
