UBC FLEX Emergency Medicine Preceptors

BC EM Network FLEX Activity

The BC Emergency Medicine Network is seeking UBC Faculty members from across the province who are interested in being a FLEX Preceptor to support FLEX students as they develop their Projects involved with the EM Network. Requirement of FLEX Preceptor is someone who is a physician currently or recently working in emergency medicine and affiliated with UBC or equivalent.

The FLEX Program provides UBC MD Undergraduate students at various stages of their education with opportunities to explore individual scholarly interests and enhanced learning.

The BC Emergency Medicine Network (EMN) looks to support the students as they complete FLEX Projects that will ultimately become part of the EMN Clinical Resources.

As a FLEX Preceptor, you will provide guidance and feedback to the students during their planning and educational activities.

This is an important opportunity for students to engage with emergency practitioners and foster further interest in a career in emergency medicine.

In addition to adding your name to their work, you will benefit by experiencing emergency medicine through their eyes and feeling their enthusiasm for our specialty.
